Big News About My Publishing Schedule!
I usually publish a book about 2-3 years after I finish the first draft. With my output over the past several years, I've been looking at potentially publishing one book per year.
But, recently looking at which books are ready and how I want to present them to the world, I am considering moving to two books per year.
Many of these stories have been written for quite some time, quietly breathing and evolving in the background, waiting for the perfect moment to step into the spotlight. Now, I’m polishing them to share with all of you even sooner!
Here’s the tentative updated timeline for my next two series:
Tales from the Sove- Horror Fantasy set in Maine in the real world and in an otherworld called the Sove that is a realm of dreams and madness:
Book 1: Into the Sove- Finished 2020- Original: Fall 2025→ New: Spring 2025
Book 2: The Nightmare Bleed- Finished 2021- Original: Fall 2026→ New: Fall 2025
Book 3: The Last Lighthouse- Finished 2023- Original: Fall 2027→ New: Spring 2026
Whispers in Chaos- Folk/Americana horror spanning Maine and Georgia, leading to a climactic showdown in the final book:
Book 1: The House With the Red Light- Finished 2023- Original: Fall 2028→ New: Fall 2026
Book 2: The Fog Man- Finished 2023- Original: Fall 2029→ New: Spring 2027
Book 3: The Yellow Veil- Finished 2024- Original: Fall 2030→ New: Fall 2027
Book 4: Whispers in Chaos- 75% complete- Original: Fall 2031→ New: Spring 2028
I'm also considering, since this is an accelerated schedule, not doing live releases for each book, but instead doing a big event for the finale for each series.
